| The Dutch in ATLAS | | The representatives of Veerman Beheer company, the new client of ATLAS GROUP from the Netherlands, visited our plants. The visitors tested our cementitious products as well as gypsum ones. |
| ATLAS purchased the plant in Grodno (Belarus). | | ATLAS purchased majority stake of private enterprise Tajfun- the major manufacturer at the building sector in Belarus. Thanks to that investment ATLAS has strengthen its position in the Eastern market. | ATLAS is the Construction Brand of the Year - For the Third Time |
|
During the BUDMA 2008 Fair, there were granted titles of Construction Brands of the Year. Main award for year 2007 went to ATLAS. Therefore, ATLAS turned out to be a very reliable brand - we won the title for third time in a row.
A main award of the ranking is the title of the Construction Brand of the Year – the best and only, chosen among all construction brands, which participate in the contest. This year, it was granted to ATLAS – as the year and two years before. It means that ATLAS is the most popular brand on the market and of high quality. The winners were elected by 2050 randomly chosen contractors (in former years, distributors were the jury).
Titles of Construction Brands of the Year were also granted in 19 groups of products. In these categories ATLAS won one main prize and two honourable mentions.
At BUDMA Fair, there were also granted titles of The Distributors of 2007. One of them went to the PSB Group - as to the best construction wholesale, a second one – to Castorama, the best construction supermarket.
