| ATLAS EDGE TRIMS are PVC and aluminium strips designed for professional and outstanding finish of various edges in case of ceramic tile fixing. They are used in places where two tile planes join (internal and external corners) as finishing elements in a given plane or as tile finish in the place where tiles join other structural elements. ATLAS EDGE TRIMS are particularly suitable for finishing room corners, various openings (e.g. doorways and window opening), shelves, columns, stairs, bathtub rims, showers, and in places where tiles join door frames and other finishing materials, etc. ATLAS EDGE TRIMS speeds up and facilitate ceramic tile fixing, protect tile edges from chipping and hide edges of cut tiles. ATLAS EDGE TRIMS AND TILE TRIMS with ATLAS GROUT and ATLAS SILTON S are a set of products used for professional finish of various tiles. All types of ATLAS EDGE TRIMS are suitable for outdoor and indoor use.
PVC edge trims
They are available in three profile types, comprising a set of elements that enables to finish any given type of ceramic tile edges. All PVC edge trims are 2500 mm long. External edge trim are used for finishing external corners of tiles whose surface converge at right angle. The trims may be also used as finishing elements of ceramic tiles on a surface on which another finishing material is also used (e.g. on the upper edge of wall tiles above which the wall will be painted). External edge trims are available in five profile heights: 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm and 10 mm. They are available in 15 colours. Internal edge trim enable to join internal corners of tiles whose surface converge at right angle or in contact places of tiles with another element (e.g. door frame). Internal edge trims are available in five profile heights: 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm and 10 mm. They are available in 15 colours. So-called general-purpose 6/9 edge trims enable finishing external corners of tiles of various thickness (max. 6 and 9 mm) whose surface converge at right or obtuse angle (possible owing to the assembly strip of the trim that can be bent at any angle). General-purpose edge trims can also be used for finishing tiles in the place where they join another finishing material. They are available in 12 colours.
Aluminium – anodised edge trims
Available only as external edge trims. Their application corresponds with application of PVC external edge rims. They are recommended in places particularly exposed to mechanical damages e.g. on doorsills or in wall corners in main passageways. They are available in two lengths (2050 mm and 2500 mm) and two profile heights (8 and 10 mm). Edge trim colour corresponds with natural aluminium.
Tile trims
Tile trims are designed for protection and esthetic finish of edges of ceramic or stone tiles. They can be used in places where tiles join e.g. wood flooring or fitter carpet and for finishing tiles in places provided for tile expansion joints. Tile trims can be also used as edge protection of landing or stairs. They are available in two finish types (anodised and non-anodised), two lengths (2000 mm and 3000 mm) and two profile heights (8 and 10 mm). They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. |

| Edge trims and tile trims are professional finishing elements of tiles that ensure appealing look and increase durability. They facilitate maintenance and cleaning of tiles and ensure higher wear resistances of tile edges. PVC edge trims are made of material resistant to negative temperatures and UV rays. Owing to exceptional flexibility, PVC trims can easily be adjusted to curved edges. A wide range of available colours enable to match the tile type and colour and grout with the appropriate finishing strip. Edge trims and tile trims are characterised by increased mechanical resistance and outstanding finish. In case of non-anodised tile trims, their surface may become covered by natural tarnish in contact with cement or lime mortars. |

| Before commencement of work, select the appropriate type of edge trim or tile trim. Select trim profile height so that the upper tile plane (after fixing) does not stick out above the height of applied profile. Apply edge trims and tile trims when tiles are fixed. Put an adhesive on the substrate and set trim’s assembly strip in the right place. Add additional amount of adhesive on the strip and then carefully adhere a tile so that it tightly adjoins the profile (avoid gaps) and does not stick out above profile’s height. 1÷2 mm gaps (between a tile and a trim) can be filled in with a grout. | PVC edge trims are available in a set (100 pieces of trims) consisting of 10 packagings, so-called plastic sleeves, each containing 10 pcs of edge trims. Aluminium edge trims are available in a set (50 pieces of trims) consisting of 5 packagings, so-called plastic sleeves, each containing 10 pcs of edge trims. Aluminium (anodised and non-anodised) tile trims are available in a set (50 pieces of trims) consisting of 5 packagings, so-called plastic sleeves, each containing 10 pcs of tile trims. |

| Use commonly used cleaning agents intended for ceramic tile maintenance to clean and maintain edge trims and tile trims. In case of PVC trims, do not use agents containing concentrated chlorine or ammonia compounds and preparations based on organic dissolvents. |
