Product description

Sealing admixture designed for:
- Production of ready-mix concrete with reduced capillary pulling and decreased absorptivity,
- Production of vibropressed concrete with low required absorptivity and reduced capillary pulling e.g. concrete paving, plates, borders – admixture can be applied to the construction and surface-finish layer,
- Production of coloured concrete with reduced risk of occurring lime efflorescence.

Main properties

    - Efficiently hydrophilizing capillary walls in order to prevent from capillary pulling and washing off soluble salts what can result in lower risk of occurring lime efflorescence - Permanently hydrophilizing and protecting from precipitations impact due to chemical reaction between cement and admixture active substances - Improves concrete staining by efflorescence reduction - Enables to obtain “drop effect” on hydrophobized surfaces - Increases concrete resistance for de-icing agents and freeze-thaw cycles - Decreases risk of algae and mosses overgrowth on building materials - Decreases concrete absorptivity - For concrete exposed to impact of water under pressure it is recommended to use water-reducing admixtures to decrease water-cement coefficient, e.g. from DURUFLOW series

Optimum in ready-mix concrete
                                      0.8 – 1.2 % of cement mass
Optimum in vibropressed two-layer elements:
Finishing coat:                  0.5 – 1.0 % of cement mass
Construction layer:
-without plasticizers:          0.4 – 0.8 % of cement mass
-with plasticizers               0.25 – 0.5 % of cement mass
 
Dosage depends on, i.e. binder type, ambient temperature, aggregate grading curve.

SHELF LIFE

12 months from the production date shown on the packaging. Production date and batch number are placed on the packaging.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

Keep in original, undamaged containers in temperature from +5°C up to +30°C. Protect from freezing and intense sunlight. Mix the product after prolonged storage.

APPLICATION

ATLAS ANGUCEL ES 200 admixture should be added as the final compound of cement mixture. Too early addition can result in decrease of concrete hydrophobization level. Mixing time must be sufficient to obtain homogenous concrete mix and should be determined by preliminary testing.
After forming, concrete should be properly maintained in order to reach the designed parameters.
