Main parameters

    USE

    Go top
BUILDING GYPSUM is designed for repairs of surfaces of walls and ceilings (e.g. filling the gaps, masking screw holes, etc.) as well as any type of assembly and installation work (mounting electrical boxes, filling furrows with wiring, etc). Can also be used for preparation of mortars and gypsum prefabricates. For indoor use.

    PROPERTIES

    Go top
BUILDING GYPSUM is a mineral binder sourced from the process of partial dehydration of natural gypsum stone (dehydrate calcium sulphate) excavated in open gypsum mine. Characterised by short time of setting. It is ecological, fast-setting and easy in use.

    SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

    Go top
The substrate should be stable and cleaned of dust and other impurities which would reduce the gypsum bonding. Poorly bonded elements should be hacked off or cleaned with a wire brush. Any steel elements, which might contact the plaster directly, should be protected against corrosion.

    MORTAR PREPARATION

    Go top
Pour the dry mix into a container with clean water (recommended ratio: approx. 0.6 l of water for 1 kg of gypsum), mix manually or mechanically until homogenous and free of lumps. The mass keeps plasticity for approx. 10 minutes. Before the next batch mixing, clean the container of residues of set mortar, as it can shorten the time of setting of the next mix.
