Machine–applied Super Light Cement-Lime Plaster is designed for execution of plastering coats upon walls and ceilings, in rooms of standard air humidity, but also in kitchens and bathrooms.

Recommended for use on substrates made of materials of high thermal insulation parametres: bricks, hollow blocks, blocks and other cellular concrete elements, ceramic hollow bricks, etc. Can also be used upon substrates made of ceramic and lime-sand elements, concrete and chipboards. The mortar should not be used on metal, timber and plastic surfaces.

Machine–applied Super Light Cement-Lime Plaster is a dry mix of cement and lime, quartz fillers, perlite and components improving workability, plasticity and bonding to the substrate. Because of reduced thermal conductivity coefficient and reduced bulk density, the plaster is recommended for substrates of higher thermal insulation parameters. Ensures improved yield than offered by traditional cement plasters.

The substrate should be dry, stable and cleaned of impurities which would impair bonding, particularly of dust, dirt, oils, greases, residues of paint coatings and anti-adhesion agents.. Poorly bonded substrate elements should be hacked off, loose dusty fragments additionally cleaned with the use of a card. The substrate should be properly aged and its humidity must not exceed 3%. Very absorbent substrates should be primed with one of the priming agents EURO-GRUNT. Smooth concrete substrates should be primed with INTER-GRUNT agent. The agents must dry before plastering. Apply contact coat made of CEMENT BASE COAT characterised by thickened consistency before plastering. Gypsum substrates should be cut with sharp chisel in order to form dense, oblique mesh with scores approx. 3 mm deep. The edges of joints between chipboards should be reinforced with strips of stainless metal mesh and CEMENT BASE COAT applied then.

The mortar is prepared in a plastering unit equipped with spiral pumps, by pouring the dry mix into the hopper. In case of manual application, pour the dry mix into a container with appropriate amount of clean water, keep the ratio listed in the Technical Data section, mix manually or mechanically until homogenous, free of lumps mass is formed.

The main coat can be applied when the base coat initially sets. The mixed mortar is machine-applied with a spray gun or by hand with a trowel. Application should start from the ceiling (single coat 15 mm thick recommended), then move to walls. Apply the mortar with horizontal overlapping strips, from top to bottom. Level the applied mortar initially with the “H-type” darby and leave for initial setting. Appropriately set plaster should be floated with tools appropriate for the expected surface finish and intended use of the plaster. If plaster forms substrate beneath ceramic cladding, it should be left without floating. When gypsum top finish or painting is planned the plaster should be floated with polystyrene or sponge float.
It is advisable to keep higher humidity for a few days, and light ventilation free of draughts and direct sunlight then. The time of drying depends on plaster thickness, temperature and humidity in a room. The plaster surface must be appropriately dry before commencement of further top finish application. In case of occurrence of line or shrinkage scores, in order to unify the substrate properties before the top finish application, it is advisable to use BRIDGING AND PRIMG PAINT GRUNT-TYNK.

Shelf life is 12 months from the production date given on the bag. Transport and store the product in tightly closed bags, on pallets, in dry conditions. Protect against humidity. Incoherence with recommendations listed above may impact the product working parameters.
Contains cement. May cause respiratory irritation. Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye damage. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid breathing dust. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. If skin irritation or a rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do – continue rinsing. Follow the instructions of the Safety Data Sheet.
