ATLAS invests in the dispersion-based products segment

  • ATLAS is expanding its operations in the dispersion-based products segment.
  • The Group has started construction of a new production facility in Dąbrowa Górnicza and finalised the purchase of a factory in Dębica.
  • Both investments are intended to increase production capacity, streamline logistics and create opportunities to further expand the range of renders, façade paints, ready-to-use skim coats and primers.
  • Both facilities are located in southern Poland.

A modern, low-emission facility in Dąbrowa Górnicza

Construction has begun in Dąbrowa Górnicza on the most technologically advanced production facility in the history of the ATLAS Group. The new plant is being built directly next to the existing factory, which has been operating since 1999. It will be fully automated, from production lines to warehouse operations, and designed to manufacture construction products based on aqueous dispersions of polymer resins. Once commissioned, the new facility will almost double the company’s existing production capacity in this segment.

Purchase of the Dębica factory finalised

As construction of the new plant begins in Silesia, ATLAS has finalised the purchase of the paint and varnish factory in Dębica from PPG Deco. The plant, formerly known as “Polifarb Dębica”, will remain in use by PPG until the end of March 2027 under the agreement. ATLAS will take over the production and warehousing infrastructure in full on 1 April 2027, when modernisation and adaptation work will begin.

Responding to market trends and pursuing strategic growth

The main objective of both projects is to significantly increase production capacity for dispersion-based products, including renders, façade paints, ready-to-use skim coats and primers. This strategic move responds to growing demand in the Polish market and forms part of the Group’s plans to drive export growth in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkan region. The investments will also help optimise logistics and further diversify the ATLAS Group’s manufacturing operations.
