In the Irish retrofit market, quality, compliance, and long-term performance are of critical importance to building owners and occupiers.
At ATLAS, we recognise that delivering successful retrofit solutions requires more than high-quality materials alone. That is why we work closely with our ATLAS Technical Distributors and relevant authorisation and certification bodies in Ireland, ensuring that our External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems are designed, specified, and supported in line with national standards, regulatory requirements, and best practice. Through this collaborative approach, ATLAS supports consistent system performance and helps provide confidence to property owners investing in retrofit solutions.

Warranty terms in the Republic of Ireland:

All ATLAS products are supplied with a standard manufacturer’s guarantee. Full details are set out in the ATLAS General Sales Conditions (GSC), available on our website.
In addition, ATLAS offers a 5-year system warranty* for approved External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems installed in Ireland. These warranties are aligned with the requirements and expectations of relevant Irish regulatory and support bodies, including NSAI and SEAI, where applicable.
System warranties must be registered prior to contract award and are subject to formal review and approval by ATLAS. Warranties apply to materials only and do not extend to workmanship, installation practices, or on-site construction quality.
* Terms and conditions apply – available upon request.

To support correct system selection and application, ATLAS technical training is delivered by approved ATLAS Technical Distributors in Ireland. Completion of training is a prerequisite for contractors wishing to apply for an ATLAS system warranty. In addition, contractors are required to participate in continuous training and refresher updates (as issued by ATLAS and/or the approved Technical Distributor) to maintain competency and remain aligned with current system requirements, detailing standards, and technical guidance. This ongoing training approach supports continued compliance with NSAI ETICS requirements, where applicator competence, correct installation practice, and adherence to the current system specification and certificate requirements must be maintained throughout the contractor’s registration and warranty eligibility.
Participation in ATLAS training or engagement with ATLAS Technical Distributors does not constitute a warranty of workmanship or installation quality. All warranty applications are assessed independently of training participation.
System warranties are issued only once all required documentation, system specifications, and quality checks have been reviewed and approved by ATLAS. Any inspections or investigations carried out by ATLAS relate solely to the performance of ATLAS products and are entirely separate from any contractual or statutory obligations of the installer.

Any reference to installer training or system familiarity reflects internal ATLAS processes only and does not create a legal partnership, agency relationship, or warranty of workmanship. Contractors, distributors, or third parties are not authorised to make representations, warranties, or warranties on behalf of ATLAS.
ATLAS shall not be held liable for claims or statements made by third parties regarding training status, compliance, or eligibility for warranties. The only binding commitments from ATLAS are those set out in official written documentation, including Warranty Certificates and formal correspondence issued and signed by ATLAS.

ATLAS recognises that the ultimate users of EWI systems are the occupants and owners of the buildings in which they are installed. Our systems are designed to deliver reliable performance throughout their intended service life, provided they are maintained correctly.
To support this, property owners and occupiers are advised to follow the ATLAS Façade Maintenance and Renovation Guidance, available to download from our website. This guidance outlines recommended inspection intervals, cleaning methods, routine upkeep, and general care to help maintain system performance and appearance.
In the unlikely event of a post-installation product performance issue, ATLAS may arrange a technical inspection and issue a written report outlining findings and recommended actions, subject to warranty terms and conditions*. Our Technical Team remains available to provide ongoing product support and advice to ensure the long-term benefits of ATLAS systems are fully realised.
* Terms and conditions apply – available upon request.
ATLAS guarantees do not affect customers’ statutory rights.
