ATLAS SEALING TAPES

Most important features

  • for sealing edges and expansion joints
  • highly flexible
  • element of WODER waterproofing systems

Product description

Protects substrates against water and moisture penetration - together with ATLAS WODER sub-tile waterproofing.

They are designed for sealing special spots (embedded in ATLAS WODER E, ATLAS WODER W, ATLAS FAST DRYING LIQUID FOIL)

o SEALING TAPE - 120 mm wide (centre strip - 70 mm, perfo-rated side strips - 25 mm) and 0.65 mm thick - for wall and floor subfloor edges and expansion joints,
o SEALING CORNERS - moulded parts made of SEALING TAPE - for internal and external corners of rooms,

Protect substrates against moisture arising inside buildings - plasters and screeds in wet rooms (bathrooms, baths, showers, kitchens, washing facilities), especially in the wet zones of these rooms - around showers, washbasins, bathtubs, sinks, etc.

They are recommended for the protection of elements particularly exposed to damage in contact with moisture - gypsum products (boards and plaster) and anhydrite products, cellular concrete.

Type of substrates to be sealed - mineral, cement, cement-lime and gypsum plasters, cement and anhydrite screeds, concrete, reinforced concrete and brick, hollow block and block masonry elements, plasterboard, etc.

Main properties

  • High strength – the mesh is made of extremely tear resistant polyester – transversely elastic; the sealing layer is made of highly resistant thermoplastic elastomer.
  • Flexible - they have the capacity to deform laterally - and remain watertight even under considerable deformation, making them ideal for sealing the joints of two structural elements that are in contact with each other, but work differently, e.g. the edges of a wall and the floor.
