Product description
Jointing of plasterboards – without the need for additional reinforcement in the form of tapes in the case of boards with factory-formed edges.
Repairing wall and ceiling surfaces – recommended for spot repairs to compound and skim coat surfaces or plasterboards.
Fitting corner beads and spot repairs to damaged boards.
Full-surface filling of walls and ceilings.

Properties
ATLAS STR+ is a material manufactured from carefully selected alpha gypsum, enriched with special mineral fillers with a fibrous structure. These ensure ease of application, stability and the ability to apply thicker layers without the mixture collapsing. The product is reinforced with polymers and fibres.

AirMatrix Technology – an advanced air matrix with a uniform and stable structure, evenly distributed throughout the compound, provides:
    - low weight,
    - ease of application,
    - the ability to easily fill and spread the compound across the surface,
    - quick and even drying,
    - ease of sanding, resulting in a uniform and stable surface characterised by high strength and hardness.

Fibre reinforcement – the fibres improve water retention, facilitating mixing and spreading of the compound; once set, they strengthen and densify the structure of the hardened binder, increasing its resistance to micro-cracking.

Optimally selected hardness – allowing for the sanding of (minor) unevenness.

    Fast-setting – a very rapid process:
    - drying – enabling the next stage of work to begin early,
    - development of the strength required to continue work during the first few hours of setting,
    - surface sanding – hardness remains constant during setting,
    - achieving service hardness – resistance to mechanical damage.

Workability – thanks to special fibrous fillers, the product is easy to apply and finish, both when filling gaps between plasterboard edges and when smoothing, filling defects and finishing the surface.

Increased strength – ensures a durable, suitably strong and flexible joint between plasterboards.

Low shrinkage during setting – the reduction of internal stresses arising during the setting stage ensures high joint stability. The compound retains a constant volume after application, does not collapse in joints and cavities, and does not swell.

Uniform drying – the compound dries evenly across the entire surface.

Long working time after mixing with water – 60 minutes.
