ATLAS MASONRY MORTAR M10

Most important features

  • for ceramic, concrete and silicate elements
  • high ductility
  • compressive strength - min. 10.0 N/mm²
  • combines elements into a stable, durable wall

Product description

• Recommended for traditional thick joint masonry - it allows for correction of dimensional inaccuracies in wall elements.

• Allows the construction of overground storeys, basement walls and foundations - reinforced and unreinforced subject to struc-tural requirements.

• Connects the elements into a stable and durable wall - it is a soft and resilient matrix in which rigid elements such as bricks, stones and blocks are embedded.

• Protects individual masonry components - bricks, blocks, hollow bricks - from deterioration and provides a buffer to reduce the impact of stresses associated with loading under the influence of successive layers of masonry and thermal and moisture changes in the surroundings.

• Type of masonry - bricks, hollow blocks and other such ceramic, lime sand and concrete materials

Main properties

ATLAS MASONRY MORTAR M-10 is produced as a dry mix-ture of the highest quality cement binder, quartz fillers and refining additives.

  • Compressive strength ≥ 10.0 N/mm2

  • Prepared in the factory - guarantees repeatability:
  • - working properties of the mortar,
    - technical parameters of the joints after setting.

  • Easy and convenient to use - characterised by:
  • - very good workability,
    - plasticity,
    - high adhesion.

  • It has an extended standby time of approximately 4 hours.

  • So called anti-freezing agents may be added to the mortar which make it possible to carry out works at lower temper-atures, i.e. below + -5°C The new temperature range of mortar application, the manner of its preparation (especially the correction of the amount of water added), the principles of carrying out works and the conditions of mortar setting should be adopted in accordance with the additive manufacturers indications; the amount of the anti-freezing agent added depends on the cement content in the mortar - the ratio of cement:fillers in ATLAS MASONRY MORTAR M-10 is 1:3. Note. The mortar manufacturer is not responsible for the effects and quality of the antifreeze additives used.
