Walls full of glamour

Glamour is a modern and attractive style of interiors decoration. Gentle metallic shade, elegant pearl gloss and trick of light and colour can improve the appearance of any room. Our brand Fox Dekorator brings materials to those looking for outstanding decorative effects.

The varnishes, patinas and brocades offered by Atlas allow to arrange magic interior glamour. When deciding on the use of wall decorations in the form of metallic or pearl gloss, one should remember a few principles. First of all about the philosophy “less is more”. If we want to form a stylish arrangement, it is also advisable to consider the mix of colours and textures or to go just with slight metallic surface coating.

Fox Dekorator brand offers wide range of products used for creation of outstanding glossy effects:

Pearl Patina – walls with pearl glow.

Fox Dekorator Pearl Patina is a top coat dispersive paint which forms an intensive surface pearl shade. It gives the final appearance of Sandstorm, Moonrock and Trilobite Effects offered by Fox Dekorator book of effects. It can be coloured with original Fox tube pigments or with the NCS system. It allows to form both smooth surfaces (when applied with a trowel) or various patterns (when applied with a paintbrush or a sponge). The paint applied with circular crossing moves of a paintbrush or a trowel forms original, decorative coating.

An interesting effect with metallic shade and sand flecks is formed by Pearl Patina 3D. Owing to its composition, we can form metallic-pearl surface of mixed texture and effect which changes depending on the light angle and intensity. Similarly to standard Pearl Patina it can be used for general painting and decorative patterns forming.

This product range is supplemented with Metallic Patina, which forms an intensive metallic shade: star gold and platinum.

Varnish – walls of metallic gloss.

A little bit more inconspicuous, gentle shimmering decoration is formed with the use of Fox Dekorator Metallic Varnish.  The second varnish type, which contains interferential fillers and changes the colour depending on the light angle, is Fox Dekorator Chameleon Varnish. The varnish is a semi-transparent product which forms a metallic coating when applied directly upon the paint coat. It offers a perfect solution for decorative elements applied upon wall fragments. It is used for initial metallic coating of Base Coat Paints and for top coating of decorations made of Relief (structural plaster) or Zen Paint. The varnishes bring beautiful and strong decorative solutions: the coating is durable and easy to keep clean. The shimmering surfaces have one more advantage – as they perfectly reflect light, they do good in rooms, where the effect of room brightening or enlarging is expected.

Brocade – simple, extraordinary additive.

Brocade is a varnish additive which brings original appearance even on common surfaces. It is easy in use and brings the final effect which improves the room decoration. The brocade used on a wall can be expressively underlined with point lights or gently hidden in darkness.

The additive Fox Dekorator Brocade is available in three standard colours: silver, gold and multicolour. The product is added to Fox Dekorator Decorative Varnish and applied with a roller upon whole decorated surface. The additional advantage of this solution is the coating durability and resistance to washing resulting from the varnish properties.

Advice on the brocade application.

The amount of brocade in a packaging is set in order to form the optimum effect (1 packaging 10 g of brocade with 1 l of Varnish). The brocade added to the varnish should be slightly mixed, poured into a tray and applied with a roller. It is advisable to coat the surface in different directions, so the brocade is distributed precisely and uniformly upon the whole surface. Single coating is sufficient in case of application of brocade upon the Fox Dekorator effects. For application upon smooth walls coated with acrylic paints it is recommended to coat the surface twice.
